From our VHS tape archives: This MBC clip of our early days featured airasia as a leading low-cost carrier in Southeast Asia. It highlighted our low-cost carrier model, which included a simple boarding process, no assigned seats, no in-flight services and having bookings done via Internet or call center to further save cost. To further save aircraft maintenance costs, airasia uses 1 type of aircraft: the Boeing 737.
