We moved our operations from the Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport in Subang to KL International Airport (KLIA) on the 4th of July 2002.
To keep costs low, it is not typical for us to give away any freebies. However, to mark this momentous occasion, airasia created this paper plane model as a keepsake – anyone can fold it, and fly it – oh, the romanticism, joy, and thrill of flying for both children and adults!
We recalled meeting a family of 3 generations, taking a flight to Penang, a first for some of the members, expressing their joy that our low fares have made it possible.
